The college campus provides a pool of worldviews that leave many of us actively searching for some absolute truth. Our generation was raised in a society where situational ethics and relative morality have been taught in our schools and dominate our media.<\/p>

Our mission is to introduce people to a real relationship with Jesus Christ and to learn what it means to live a life led by Him. Our spiritual mandate is found in Matthew 28:18-20:

Then Jesus came to them and said, \u2018All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age.\u2019<\/q><\/em><\/p>

Our Faith<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

Below is a brief summary of what the Bible has to say about how to become a Christian. It is the core of what we believe.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

God\u2019s Perspective:\u00a0<\/strong>God loves you and created you to know Him personally. He has a wonderful plan for your life.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

God\u2019s Love:\u00a0<\/strong>For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)<\/em><\/p>

God\u2019s Plan:\u00a0<\/strong>Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our Condition:\u00a0<\/strong>People are sinful and separated from God, so we cannot know Him personally or experience His love and plan.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

People are Sinful<\/strong>\u2026for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)<\/em><\/p>

People were created to have fellowship with God; but because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

People are Separated\u00a0<\/strong>For the wages of sin is death [spiritual separation from God]. (Romans 6:23)<\/em><\/p>

God is holy and people are sinful; a great gulf separates the two. People are continually trying to reach God and establish a personal relationship with Him through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion, but we inevitably fail.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

God\u2019s Response<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jesus Christ is God\u2019s only provision for our sin. Through Him alone we can know God personally and experience God\u2019s love and plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He Died in Our Place <\/strong>But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)<\/em><\/p>\n

He Rose from the Dead <\/strong>\u2026Christ died for our sins\u2026He was buried, He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures\u2026 He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

After that, He appeared to more than five hundred\u2026 (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)<\/em><\/p>

He is the Only Way to God\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus answered, \u2018I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.\u2019\u00a0<\/em>(John 14:6)<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our Response:\u00a0<\/strong>We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know God personally and experience His love and plan.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

We Must Receive Christ:\u00a0<\/strong>Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)<\/em><\/p>

We Receive Christ Through Faith:\u00a0<\/strong>For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith \u2013 and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God \u2013 not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth:\u00a0<\/strong>Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, \u201cRabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.\u201d Jesus answered him, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.\u201d Nicodemus said to him, \u201cHow can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother\u2019s womb and be born?\u201d Jesus answered, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, \u2018You must be born again.\u2019 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.\u201d (John 3:1-8)<\/em><\/p>

We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation:\u00a0<\/strong>[Christ speaking]\u00a0Here I am! I stand at the door knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)<\/em><\/p>

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive us of our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

You Can Receive Christ Right Now by Faith Through Prayer<\/strong><\/h4><\/div><\/div>

God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart.\u00a0

How to Know That Christ is in Your Life<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>

Did you receive Christ into your life? According to His promise as recorded in Revelation 3:20, where is Christ right now in relation to you? Christ said that He would come into your life and be your Savior and friend so you can know Him personally. Would He mislead you? On what authority do you know that God has answered your prayer? (The trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word.)<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Bible Promises Eternal Life to All Who Receive Christ<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:11-13)<\/em><\/p>

Thank God often that Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5).<\/em>\u00a0You can know on the basis of His promise that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal life from the very moment you invite Him in.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
