Cru is a great place for you to walk with God and do ministry during your years as a college student in the unique environment on campus, but we don\u2019t take the place of a local church. We encourage everyone to worship and be under the leadership of a local body. Athens has many<\/em>\u00a0great churches that welcome students each Sunday. We have listed a few below, in alphabetical order, which are close to campus or popular with Cru students, but this list is certainly not exhaustive. It\u2019s just offered as a help to get you started.<\/p>

Behind the Starbucks on Atlanta Highway just outside the loop.<\/p>

Calvary Bible Church<\/a><\/h4>

285 Tallassee Rd, Athens, GA 30605<\/p>

Classic City Church<\/a><\/h4>

Meets at 595 Prince Avenue, a 5 minute drive from campus.<\/p>

Cleveland\u00a0Road Baptist Church<\/a><\/h4>

In Bogart, just west of Athens.<\/p>

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church<\/a><\/h4>

Meets in Normaltown.<\/p>

Living Hope Church<\/a><\/h4>

Located on Lexington Road east of the B&B Theater. Convenient for those in East Athens.<\/p>

North Avenue Church<\/a><\/h4>

Meets inside Central Baptist Church on 720 Danielsville Rd at 3:30pm.<\/p>

Prince Avenue Baptist Church<\/a><\/h4>

On Monroe Highway outside Loop 10.<\/p>

Redeemer Presbyterian Church<\/a><\/h4>

Located on Pulaski across from Chase Bank, within walking distance from campus.<\/p>
