CAN I RAISE SUPPORT TO PAY FOR THE TRIP?
Yes! Need help? [Click here to learn how]
WHAT IF THE FUNDS DON’T COME IN?
If you send support letters for spring break and follow them up for decisions, however you are still short, Design will fully scholarship the remaining funds. In order to qualify, we ask that you invite at least 20 to your support team if you are traveling stateside for spring break, 40 for London Spring Break or 100 if you are traveling on summer mission. (And follow them up 3x or until decision made)
HOW DO I RESERVE A SPOT?
Apply online and make a non-refundable deposit of $100 of the cost of the trip within 1 week of acceptance.
CAN I RESERVE SPOTS FOR MY CAMPUS?
Spaces are only reserved when the non-refundable deposit is paid.
SPRING BREAK FUNDING MILESTONES
- Apply by January 23 for spring break trips
- $100 non-refundable deposit due within 1 week of acceptance
- Half trip cost due Feb 1
- Full trip cost due Feb 17
- If you cancel after Feb. 1, you will forfeit funds to cover the purchased plane tickets and housing costs.
WILL THERE BE FREE TIME TO EXPLORE?
Yes, there will be free time built in to the schedule.
WHAT WILL STUDENTS BE DOING?
Students will be trained in ministry and help launch spiritual movements on college campuses and South Asian communities.
WHAT WILL THE WEEK LOOK LIKE?
You will spend the mornings in the Word and prayer and learning ministry skills. During the afternoons you will be engaging college students on campus with the gospel or serving in the SA community. There will typically also be a day where students will connect with a local church. There will be down time built in to the schedule most days.
IS THERE PARKING?
There is included parking. If you choose to drive, you will need to make parking arrangements as need-be. We strongly suggest all students and staff drive (or take a bus/train if you are able) but also recognize flying may be necessary.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
Talk with your trip leader before making arrangements, especially since there is a chance they will be booking flights for you. If you fly, it may easiest to take a Lyft or Uber to the team’s housing accommodations. You may also be able to take public transportation (bus/subway). It may be harder to navigate with larger suitcases so we ask for you to only bring 1 carry-on and 1 personal-sized bag.
