Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo

This Mission is Open to Both High School and College Students

The Dominican Republic is a country in the Caribbean Sea. It shares an island with Haiti and is located just 2 hours south of Miami. It is a beautiful island with nearly 1,000 miles of coastline and pristine beaches. The Dominican Republic also boasts of mountain ranges and fertile valleys. Dominicans are known for their loyalty and their commitment to their family. As a result, many people in the country prefer living in joint and multi-generational families. Baseball is by far the most popular sport in the country. The capital city, Santo Domingo, is one of the oldest yet most modern cities in the Caribbean.

As part of this team, you’ll travel to the vibrant city of Santo Domingo, where you’ll have the incredible opportunity to build lasting friendships with Dominican students. You will engage with students by speaking in classrooms, at school assemblies, and during campus outreach events. You’ll have the unique opportunity to share your life experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, and fully immerse yourself in the rich Dominican culture.

You’ll not only share what life is like as a student in the U.S., but also listen, learn, and grow through the stories and experiences of those you meet. You’ll work alongside local staff, encouraging new believers and helping ignite spiritual movements on high school campuses. This is more than a trip; it’s a powerful opportunity to make an eternal impact with Dominican students. As you step out in faith, your own spiritual journey will be stretched and strengthened.

Join us this Spring and be a part of taking the Gospel to the Dominican Republic!
