Everyone has a story, and now is the time to listen to our African American brothers and sisters. The recent ruthless murders that have occurred, compounded by the daily injustices that have been experienced, set the stage for us to engage in new ways with our friends. We can no longer remain silent, but must join in with what Jesus is already doing&#8230; &#8220;proclaiming good news to the poor, and setting the captives and the oppressed free.&#8221; (Luke 4:18)\nThere are students in our communities who are fearful to walk outside&#8230;students who feel &#8220;less than&#8217; because of the color of their skin&#8230;students who long to feel freedom from the systemic injustices that they, and generations before them, have experienced.\u00a0 Our world is broken, and so are\u00a0we. Now is\u00a0the\u00a0time to\u00a0ask the\u00a0Spirit for renewal and revival not\u00a0only in our country but in our own lives!\n\u00a0&#8220;Just Mercy&#8221; is an amazing movie that we at Cru highly recommend you watch.
