Ecuador is a unique country straddling the equator on South America’s west coast. Its diverse landscape encompasses the Amazon jungle, the Andean highlands, and the beautiful Galapagos Islands. With a population of 18 million, it’s a place of vibrant culture and rich history. The capitol city of Quito is the world’s highest capitol city with an elevation of 9350 feet.
As part of this team, you’ll travel to the historic city of Quito, where you’ll have the incredible opportunity to build lasting friendships with Ecuadorian students. You will engage with students by speaking in classrooms, at school assemblies, and during campus outreach events. You’ll have the unique opportunity to share your life experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, and fully immerse yourself in the rich Ecuadorian culture.
You’ll not only share what life is like as a student in the U.S., but also listen, learn, and grow through the stories and experiences of those you meet. You’ll work alongside local staff, encouraging new believers and helping ignite spiritual movements on high school campuses. This is more than a trip; it’s a powerful opportunity to make an eternal impact with Ecuadorian students. As you step out in faith, your own spiritual journey will be stretched and strengthened.
