Puerto Rico is a Caribbean Island and an unincorporated United States territory boasting a landscape of mountains, waterfalls, tropical beaches and the El Yunque rainforest. It is only 100 miles long and 35 miles wide, making it the smallest Island of the Greater Antilles. The capital, San Juan, has a population of 3.7 million people. It features colorful Spanish buildings and massive fortresses.
As part of this team, you’ll travel to the vibrant city of San Juan, where you’ll have the incredible opportunity to build lasting friendships with Puerto Rican students. You will engage with students by speaking in classrooms, at school assemblies, and during campus outreach events. You’ll have the unique opportunity to share your life experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, and fully immerse yourself in the rich Puerto Rican culture.
You’ll not only share what life is like as a student in the U.S., but also listen, learn, and grow through the stories and experiences of those you meet. You’ll work alongside local staff, encouraging new believers and helping ignite spiritual movements on high school campuses. This is more than a trip; it’s a powerful opportunity to make an eternal impact with Puerto Rican students. As you step out in faith, your own spiritual journey will be stretched and strengthened.
