Panama is a country in Central America that is a narrow strip of land bridging North and South America. The Panama Canal cuts through the center, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Panama’s unique location provides a beautiful landscape of rainforests, a desert, and breathtaking beaches on both coastlines. Panama City is the largest city in Panama and the most cosmopolitan capital in Central America. It boasts of large modern skyscrapers and older, beautiful colonial buildings scattered throughout the city. Panama is the only place in the world where you can watch the sun rise on the Pacific Ocean and set on the Atlantic Ocean from the same spot.
As part of this team, you’ll travel to the vibrant city of Panama City, where you’ll have the incredible opportunity to build lasting friendships with Panamanian students. You will engage with students by speaking in classrooms, at school assemblies, and during campus outreach events. You’ll have the unique opportunity to share your life experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, and fully immerse yourself in the rich Panamanian culture.
You’ll not only share what life is like as a student in the U.S., but also listen, learn, and grow through the stories and experiences of those you meet. You’ll work alongside local staff, encouraging new believers and helping ignite spiritual movements on high school campuses. This is more than a trip; it’s a powerful opportunity to make an eternal impact with Panamanian students. As you step out in faith, your own spiritual journey will be stretched and strengthened.
There’s even more! You’ll also play a vital role in bringing clean water and renewed hope to families in need. By assisting with the installation of water filters in homes, you’ll provide a fundamental necessity while sharing the transformative message of God’s love and forgiveness. Every interaction is a chance to connect, pray with families, and embody Christ’s compassion.
