This summer, Bridges International (the international student ministry of Cru) is heading back to Sydney, Australia — a city known for its iconic harbor, friendly locals, and vibrant international student community. With more than 100,000 international students living in Sydney, including over 50,000 students studying at the University of New South Wales, you will have many opportunities to welcome and serve ‘the nations’.
At UNSW, your team will partner with local staff to meet new students arriving for the start of the winter semester, invite them into Christian community, and share the hope of the Gospel. You will also be trained in cross-cultural ministry skills, learning how to engage and share with students from a variety of religious backgrounds.
Beyond ministry, you will also experience some joys of Aussie culture — barbies (barbecue), Tim Tam slams with new friends, or try chicken salt on ‘chips.’ You will grow spiritually, serve practically, and see God at work in a global city that truly embodies the ‘Land Down Under.’
