From Galileo to Gucci, Italians have shaped the world. However, few see past their amazing history and culture to recognize that today, there is huge need for the gospel. While 90% of Italy claims to be Catholic, fewer than 10% attend church more than once a year. Protestant churches are split, weak, and independent in the post-Christian, humanistic culture.
To the average Italian college student, Christianity is irrelevant and churches are for tourists and old people. Cru is bringing the light of Jesus to future world-shapers on university campuses in Rome.
You will learn how to share your faith cross-culturally and build relationships with local Italian students. The training and experience you’ll receive this summer will equip you for a lifetime of ministry.
