High school is a critical time. Students are asking big questions about who they are, what they believe, and whether any of it matters. And most of them are asking those questions without anyone to walk alongside them.
That’s where you come in.
The Apprentice Program is a part-time, paid opportunity for college students and young adults to serve 8 to 10 hours a week in Cru’s High School Ministry. As an apprentice, you’ll lead Bible studies, share your faith, and build real relationships with students on their campus. You become part of the local Cru staff team — not on the sidelines, but in the middle of the action.
You’ll be trained. You’ll be supported. And you’ll be doing work that actually changes lives, including your own.
This is also a window you won’t have forever. Your college years are one of the best times to figure out whether full-time ministry is where God is calling you. The Apprentice Program gives you hands-on experience to help you answer that question — not someday, but now.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up.

Your college years are one of the best times to figure out whether full-time ministry is where God is calling you. The Apprentice Program exists for two reasons. High school students need more leaders in their lives right now. And college students need real experience that shapes where they’re headed. The Apprentice Program meets both needs at once – building a long-term leadership pipeline while expanding the reach of local Cru teams today.
You’ll be part of a local staff team, doing meaningful, relational ministry in the places that need it most. And the experience you gain could set the direction for the rest of your life.
